Dr. Srabonti Saha

CO-PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR (AM-NPR)

Dr. Srabonti Saha has been working as an associate professor at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Dr. Saha received her B.Sc. honors and MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same university in 2007 and 2009, respectively. She has also been awarded her Ph.D. degree from the University of Chittagong for 2019–2023. She started her career as a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Chittagong University in 2013 and was promoted to her current position in 2023. She is a co-principal investigator of the Laboratory of Complementary and Alternative Medicine and Natural Product Research of the above-named department. Her particular intrigue and passion for research are deeply related to drug discovery. When she began her career studying molecular biology and biochemistry, her interest was first sparked. This bond sent her into a fanciful universe where she believed that natural compounds and structural analogues have traditionally played a significant role in pharmacotherapy.
